Innovative approach to support families

One of the parallel events of CSW62 was dedicated to digitalization-innovation-technology. One of the panelists was the head of Parents' House Movement which she started in 2007 that aimed to integrate underprivileged families into the community. Later the president of the Hungarian Water Polo Federation founded Parents' House Foundation in 2015. This foundation supports 4 family centers in the country. They cooperate with the government. The government pays for the families of low SES to use the Parents' House Foundation center for different events, while the families who can afford they will pay for their events. The foundation runs different projects for families in need, providing their children with an opportunity to learn and be empowered through sports. The foundation also started a Parents' House Civil Franchise that helps the community members to launch a family day nursery or a community space.
