One of the parallel events was titled, "CSW62 Orientation Session". This event was dedicated to The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) and its mission. The panelists presented the mission of CSW as to promote gender equality and empower women.
As it was mentioned in the event, 17 new Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets were put on an agenda by governments. By this agenda, ending poverty, fighting against inequalities, etc. were prioritized.

The panelists highlighted the important work NGOs do around the world, that NGOs are the entities advocating for a change, empowering women and young girls, making difference in women's lives. Only together we can bring a change.
